◆Knowledge and intelligence
In the traditional concept, the hierarchy of information is represented by the DIKW pyramid. This pyramid is plotted from the bottom as Data, Information, Knowledge, and Wisdom. Data is an objective fact, such as a pure number or symbol before processing, and when it is processed and understood as a relationship, it becomes information, and information is interconnected and understood as a pattern, and the result of prediction by combining personal experiences based on this is knowledge. do. The DIKW Pyramid defines wisdom as a creative product that combines the accumulation of knowledge and ideas, and is a creative idea derived from a deep understanding of the fundamental principles. Wisdom here is more appropriate to see as Intelligence, which is’intelligence’ rather than wisdom. It is also unreasonable to see intelligence as’intelligence’. Intellect is a closer expression to wisdom.
Koo Bon-kwon, the author of’Robot Era, Human Work’, explains well that human civilization has undergone three major changes in the structure of knowledge, and each time the way we encounter knowledge has changed fundamentally. The invention of letters made it possible to convey knowledge through records instead of recitation and oral traditions, allowing knowledge to be distributed and transmitted beyond the limits of time and space in a state that is incomparable to oral traditions. Subsequently, the invention of printing expanded the range and speed of knowledge spread, and increased intellectual pursuit and accumulation of knowledge in various areas, reducing the effort spent on memorization and demanding a new intellectual ability to know where the vast amount of knowledge is. The third change, initiated by the Internet and digital devices, fundamentally changed the way mankind meets with knowledge, and the structures of oblivion and memory were reversed, and a new use of knowledge in the form of outsourcing and relying on memory on an’external brain’. Knowledge is often obtained by clarifying the causal relationship between objects and phenomena through observation and experimentation, and what makes this possible is human thinking ability and curiosity. ◆A world where artificial intelligence and human wisdom coexist

However, there are some aspects of human beings who become stronger as they become weak and increase their flexibility, creativity, and inclusiveness from the urge to escape deprivation and pain. If artificial intelligence is in the realm of efficiency, human wisdom is in the realm of value and direction. Intelligence and wisdom also differ in coping ability. Wisdom always provides a positive perspective and view of life, situations, and others. In the dictionary, intelligence is “the ability of intellectual activity to confront a new object or situation, understand its meaning and find a reasonable adaptation method”, and wisdom is “the ability to organize and unify perceived things, and create new awareness based on this Mental action”. Hiroshi Takashi, the author of “Supergenialist,” says “intelligence” is the ability to quickly give an accurate answer to “a question with a fixed answer,” but “intelligence” continues to ask questions about “a question that has not already been answered” It was called ability. This intelligence is an explanation closer to’human wisdom’. American writer Kevin Kelly also said,’Machines (artificial intelligence) exist to answer questions, and humans exist to ask questions.’ Humans seem to gain more wisdom through their inner inquiry through questions. Wisdom is the realization of what really matters and can guide good decisions and choices that can improve the well-being of others, including yourself!
Artificial intelligence is a tool for humans. Tools can be used both for good and for evil, so it is important that the tools have a handle that humans can access. I believe that the handle should begin to form when artificial intelligence was a child. Now is the time. If artificial intelligence knows how to respect compassion, filial piety, respect, sacrifice, devotion, tolerance of uncertainty, the mystery of pain, and the value of humility, artificial intelligence can coexist with mankind and create a rich world as the best invention of mankind.
I think that artificial intelligence will make a world much better than gaining the wisdom of enlightenment through contemplative prayer or meditation, but giving a handle to the human teachers who have such wisdom and pursue it.
