Even the richest man in the world has regrets. The US economic media CNBC reported on the 1st (local time) that Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who became the world’s richest in Tesla stock price recently, trembled, saying, “I should have bought bitcoin eight years ago.”
According to reports, Musk CEO said in an interview with’Club House’, an audio-based social network service (SNS) the day before, “I ate a piece of’Bitcoin Cake’ that a friend gave me in 2013.” I should have bought it, but I was late to the party.”
“I think bitcoin is good at this point,” he said. “I am a supporter of bitcoin.” He added, “I think Bitcoin will soon be widely accepted by traditional financiers.”
This is not the first time that Musk CEO has expressed interest in Bitcoin.
On the 29th of last month, when Musk’s CEO deleted his Twitter account’s existing profile and wrote’#bitcoin’, the bitcoin price skyrocketed by nearly 20%.
However, according to CNBC, the market did not respond to Mr. Musk’s remarks, such as a slight drop in the bitcoin price.
